4. Relaxation

I cannot stress enough how important practicing relaxation is.

You need to find some method of relaxation to learn how your muscles should feel when in a relaxed state. Yoga, meditation, Thai chi are some examples.

Probably the most important part of this is your breathing, if you can carry this over into a stressful situation it can really help turn things around.

Find a nice quiet place and relax, close your eyes, and starting from your toes work your way up to your head tensing each muscle for 3-4 seconds, and then letting them fully relax.

I usually give myself about half an hour but its up to you, try to find somewhere quite if your day is always busy do it before going to sleep.

I used to hold my breath without realizing it in stressful situations, through relaxation I learned how to unlearn this.
